Leith Hill Octopus

Eight ascents of Surrey's highest point, each by a different route. Starting from Dorking Station, this 105km ride packs over 2,000m of climbing into a single day as it methodically works through every way up Leith Hill: Coldharbour, Pasturewood, Broomhall Road, Hollow Lane, Sheephouse Lane, Henhurst Cross, Leith Hill Road, and finally Tanhurst Lane.

Food and navigation planning are essential. The lanes are intricate and café stops are scarce. Coldharbour, Pasturewood, and the Abinger Hatch are your best bets.
